What we store

NamedSky stores the account identifier needed to operate your access, the star claims you create, and hashed rate-limit data used to protect the claim flow from abuse.

Public by design

Claim content is public by design. Names, dedications, colors, claim status, and star positions may be visible in the sky and on public share pages. Do not write anything on a star that you would not want other visitors to read.

Moderation and safety

We may review, reject, hide, or remove claim content to keep the registry safe and readable. Hashed rate-limit records help us slow abusive traffic without storing the raw value used for the limit.
